As Head of Sustainability for Onex, Judy leads Onex’ sustainability efforts across its platforms. She works with Onex’ investors and clients to align Onex with industry best practices by integrating sustainability factors, which includes consideration of governance best practices, prudent human capital management, and management of environmental risks, into Onex’ investment processes and ongoing reporting.
Judy is an independent director of Gibson Energy, where she is Chair of its Sustainability and ESG Committee, and a director of PowerSchool. She is a former independent director of Altius Renewable Royalties. She is a member of the ESG Advisory Council for Export Development Canada.
Prior to joining Onex, Judy ran ESG Global Advisors, a firm she founded to bridge the gap between companies and investors on ESG. Previously, she was Head of Corporate Governance & Responsible Investment for RBC Global Asset Management.
In 2020, Judy received a Clean50 award for her leadership in advancing sustainability and clean capitalism in Canada.
Judy has a Masters in Law from Osgoode Hall Law School and a law degree from the University of Toronto Law School.
